Beijing Normal University (BNU) is a key university directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is a renowned comprehensive institution featuring teacher education, educational science and basic arts and sciences. The university is the original "985" and "211 Project" construction university. In 2017, the university entered the A-class list of the national "world-class University" construction.

 

BNUBS was founded in 1979 and was one of the first institutions granted the right to confer doctoral degrees (1981). After 40 years of development, the School has become an important talent training and scientific research base of economics and business administration in China. At present, the School has three first-level disciplines of theoretical Economics, Applied Economics and Business Administration, as well as doctoral programs of second-level disciplines of educational economics and management, and a complete talent training system ranging from bachelor's, master's (including MBA) to doctor's degree. There are 80 full-time teachers, including more than 10 national high-level talents and Changjiang Scholars. More than 30% of the teachers have obtained doctoral degrees from overseas high-level universities. The School is accredited by EQUIS, the European Management Foundation. In the fourth round of first-level discipline evaluation by the Ministry of Education, theoretical economics ranked fifth in China. In the QS2019 World University Rankings by Subject, Accounting and Finance, Business and Management studies ranked 11th among universities in the Chinese mainland, and Economics and econometrics ranked 12th. At present, with the mission of " promoting business and culture to serve the nation and the world through creating knoeledge and educating talents", the School is moving towards the goal of becoming a first-class school of Economics and management with cultural heritage and international influence.

2. Key talents:

 

D1 level: project leader of key projects and equivalent level of National Social Science Foundation; Publish at least 6 papers in SSCI-Q1 or B Chinese journals as the first/corresponding author.

 

Meet at least 2 of the above conditions and be under 35 years of age in principle. Domestic candidates should hold senior professional and technical positions.

 

D2 level: Host national scientific research projects or receive postdoctoral funding; Selected as the introduced project, dispatched project or Xiangjiang scholar project of the International Exchange Plan of the National Fair Management Committee; Publish at least 3 papers in SSCI-Q1 or B Chinese journals as the first/corresponding author; The backbone talents of think tank construction and the special talents urgently needed by disciplines and industries.

Applicants should meet at least 2 of the above requirements and have a doctorate degree from a well-known university in mainland China with post-doctoral or other working experience, or a doctorate degree from a well-known university overseas. In principle, the age should not exceed 31 years old.
