In order to further promote the development and application of management cases and build an exchange platform for case teaching and development, BNUBS plans to hold the "International Case Development Seminar" on June 10, 2019 in Beijing. The purpose of the seminar is to improve the level of case development and case teaching of scholars by discussing the experience of case development and case teaching. Based on their own experience in case teaching and development, scholars engaged in case teaching and development will be invited to discuss the issues related to case development and application from multiple perspectives. The symposium will also invite famous experts from home and abroad to attend and deliver keynote speeches.

Kimio Kase

Professor Kimio Kase is a professor of the Department of Strategic Management, former President of International University of Japan (IUJ), and an internationally renowned scholar of strategic management. He was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan in March 1949 and received his PhD from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. He has worked for many years at the Inter-American Development Bank and universities and research institutions in many countries. He lived in Spain for a long time. Before joining our school, he served as chair professor at IESE Business School, ESADE Business School, IE Business School and other top Business schools in Europe. Professor Kase is experienced in case development and case teaching, and has written more than 30 teaching cases, many of which are included in the Harvard Case Library, such as Nissan Carlos Ghosn, Imperial Army of Japan, Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Station Accident, etc. oth his teaching and research are based on the case method.

Yingying Zhang 

Ph.D. and MBA (ESADE Business School), has published reseach cases in SSCI journals and teaching cases in Ivey Case Centre and The Case Centre (former European Case Clearing House). One of her teaching cases was nominated for 2018 EFMD Case Competition Award Category of Emerging Market. 

Zaw Zaw Aung

D.Eng and M.E (Nagaoka University of Technology), Associate Professor and Director of IUJ Case Center, promoting case development and case method teaching at his school. One of the key activities of the Center is, with IM-Council, co-organizing the Annual Case Competitions.
